A treasured NAWBO Orlando annual event, the PropelHER Pitch Competition is an exciting opportunity for women business owners to showcase their businesses or business concepts, as they compete for up to $3,000 in cash plus valuable services to springboard their businesses such as legal advice, marketing programs, HR and administrative support, PR visibility, and more. We invite Florida women entrepreneurs and business owners from all disciplines to participate in NAWBO Orlando’s PropelHER Pitch Competition to find out if they have a winning pitch!
Participants compete in two categories: Established (in business a minimum of 2 years with revenue between $100,000 and $500,000) and Emerging (new business or business concept). Participants will deliver their pitches and compete LIVE on April 4, 2024 at our Take Flight Business Conference at Full Sail Live.

how it works
Contestants must first make sure they meet the eligibility requirements and submit an application and entry fee. Then they will submit pitch materials: a two-minute introduction video, a two-page executive summary, and a preliminary pitch deck (up to 10 slides). These all need to be complete by February 23, 2024.
The competition is open to both NAWBO members and non-members. The application fee for members is $75 and for non-members is $95. The fee includes your ticket to the Take Flight Business Conference on April 4, even if you do not become one of the six finalists.
A panel of judges will interview and evaluate the applicants and finalists will be announced March 11, 2024. Each will receive a one-on-one pitch coaching session in preparation for the main event.
Finalists will then refine their 8-minute pitch and PowerPoint presentation for the live competition. Pitches will be delivered at the Take Flight Business Conference on April 4, 2024 in front of an audience and panel of judges. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.
