8th Annual Share the Wealth Expo



Please join us for our 8th Annual Share the Wealth Expo: Promoting Women in Business from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the Bahia Shrine Center in Maitland.
The event grows larger every year, and this time we're expecting about 100 vendor tables! The expo floor is open from 4 to 8 p.m. You'll want to arrive early for our other business activities, including:
Seminars: The 2008 theme is Working Green, so please plan to attend our panel discussion seminars on how your business can become more profitable and environment-friendly at the same time. These are from 4:15 to 5 p.m.
Procurement Roundtables: Come talk with major corporations and government agencies about doing business with them. Visit other roundtables at this event to learn the nuts and bolts of doing business with the federal government and the benefits of certifying your company as woman- or minority-owned. Those present will include Walt Disney World, UPS, Progress Energy, Orange County Government, City of Orlando, the Disney Entrepreneur Center and the U.S. Small Business Administration. And the list is growing! This is from 2-4 p.m.
Speed Networking: Learn more about other businesses at the event and how you can work together. This is from 5:15 to 6 p.m.
IKEA Furniture Building Contest: See who can put together an office suite the fastest - and take home the prizes. You can enter to compete - just drop by the entry table at the event. The contest is from 6:15 to 7 p.m.
Be sure to stop by our Authors Table and see books written by local women. Also, enjoy a cash bar and food while you browse through exhibits about products and services designed to help women in business.
NAWBO's nonprofit partners in this event are Business & Professional Women/Orlando, Hispanic American Professional Business Women's Association, National Association of Women in Construction, and our newest partner, Women in Aviation.
