Established Business Owner * ($275 per year) For a business owner who has been in business for more than three years and lives in a chapter area. A regular voting category, members receive all communications and publications, are eligible for all discounts and benefits, and are listed in the annual directory. Chapter Membership is also required.
Emerging Business Owner * ($225 per year) For a new business owner (in business for three years or less). A non-voting category limited to two years, members receive all communications and publications, are eligible for all discounts and benefits, and are listed in the annual directory.
Supporting Member - By Board Invitation only! ($275 per year) For individuals who subscribe to the mission of NAWBO and are deemed strategic partners for the local chapter. A non-voting category, members receive all communications and publications, are eligible for all discounts and benefits, and are listed in the annual directory. Limited to 5% of the chapter membership.
Fees above include dues for National membership AND the Orlando Chapter.
All memberships are subject to NAWBO's membership criteria and National approval.
* For the purpose of NAWBO membership and eligibility, a business owner must be a sole proprietor, commissioned agent, broker, independent contractor, shareholder in a corporation, or consultant that:
1. Is established as either a Sole Proprietor or Self-Employed, or is a partner in a Partnership, Limited Liabiliity Corporation/Partnership (LLC/LLP), or is an officer of a Corporation or S Corporation; and
2. Files a schedule C or F, receives IRS Tax Forms 1099 from client(s),or files corporate or partnership tax returns.
In addition, the business owner must maintain an office (including home offices) or a business facility, and must be involved in the policy-making process and overall day-to-day management of the business.
