ABOUT NAWBO

NAWBO Orlando, chartered in 1995 as NAWBO Central Florida, is one of more than 80 chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2005.
NAWBO is the only dues-based national organization that represents women business owners across all industries and is affiliated in more than 35 countries with Les Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales, the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs. NAWBO's strength comes from its diversity, with members of all ages, cultural and professional backgrounds, sizes of business, and levels of experience in business.

Membership is open to sole proprietors, partners and corporate owners with day-to-day management responsibility. Active members who live in a chapter area automatically join both their local chapter and the national organization. There is also an at-large membership for those outside the chapter areas. Membership dues are paid annually.
NAWBO Orlando holds membership meetings at least once a month, usually on the third Tuesday evening with a dinner and program. The chapter also hosts several annual events, including a scholarship auction in the fall and a business expo and tradeshow in the spring. All events are open to members and guests.
Vision

NAWBO Orlando provides support, resources and opportunities to propel women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.
